Governor Mark Sanford endorses Scott Singer |
 Too many Columbia politicians including many Republicans) have under cut Governor Sanford’s efforts to protect taxpayers and reform state government. They even voted to override is vetoes 234 times. The time has come to take a stand against he lobbyists and special interest groups who control the system in Columbia. That’s why I signed the Contract for change and that’s why Governor Sanford supports my campaign. My opponent has criticized me for taking this stand. And, now, this election boils down to whether or not our next State Representative will fight for the conservative reform our State needs and deserves. May I have your vote on Tuesday, June 24? Just as I have on Aiken County Council, I pledge to you that I will always put Aiken first and fight to protect the families and taxpayers of South Carolina. Thank you.

Unfortunately, special interests and their high-paid lobbyists clearly dominate the political process in the General Assembly. As a result, South Carolinians have lost faith in their State government and their elected officials. If you’re satisfied with the status quo then frankly I’m probably not your guy. |
